Kowalski’s opening New Wine Shop

Kowalski’s Markets will soon allow customers to build their own six-packs at 2440 Hennepin Ave.  The grocer is opening a new wine shop in August, offering wine, craft beer, a full range of spirits, and weekly wine pourings.

“We will have an emphasis on local and sustainable beers and wines,” said Max Maddaus, store manager. “Wine is our biggest, most prominent focus.”

An endcap will feature a rotating selection of seasonal beers, so patrons can fill up an empty cardboard six-pack with their bottles of choice.  (Source: Southwest Journal)
