More Yogurt Labs on the Way

Yogurt Lab locations are popping up all over Minneapolis, and one of them is opening in August at 50th & France.

The yogurt shop features a periodic table of 16 rotating flavors like nutella and fior de latte, with a selection of more than 60 toppings like mango, Andes mint pieces, and Cap’n Crunch.

One of their favorite new concoctions is green apple frozen yogurt twisted with salted caramel yogurt.

“With a sprinkle of sea salt on top, it’s perfect,” said co-owner Andrea Switz.

The shop at 5007 France Ave. S. — a space formerly home to Sprongs — is one of three new stores opening within a month of each other. Other new stores are in the IDS Center and Stadium Village on the University of Minnesota campus.

“We have been so well received in the Calhoun location,” said Switz, referring to the original storefront at 3100 Excelsior Blvd., west of Lake Calhoun. “[But] some people weren’t aware we were on Excelsior.”  (Source: Southwest Journal)
