Len Druskin is adding a sixth store concept: LD Blues will open later this summer at Gaviidae Common in downtown Minneapolis, featuring women’s denim and casual lines, similar to core inventory at the flagship Len Druskin store at Galleria. It will be the local company’s third Gaviidae storefront, with Len Druskin Man and LD Len Druskin, which focuses on career and dress apparel for women.
“We’ve been so pleased with the response to the women’s store at Gaviidae, we wanted to expand from work and evening into day,” says company president Michael Druskin. Premium denim has long been a strength for Len Druskin, and the company plans to hit it hard this fall, bringing in new brands including Koral, from the founder of Seven for All Mankind that will be available at Len Druskin at the Galleria and LD Blues at Gaviidae.
The company is also adding its fifth Len store–the retailer’s less expensive trend apparel division–at Maplewood Mall. It is scheduled to open by the end of July.
So, let’s review. By summer’s end Len Druskin will have 11 storefronts across the Twin Cities. Top line stores are Len Druskin at the Galleria and the three Gaviidae stores: Len Druskin Man, LD Len Druskin and LD Blues. Len Druskin Outlet at City Center is the place to find bargains from the full price stores.
