A sign on the door at Joe Senser’s restaurant in Plymouth says it’s been closed “for economic and financial reasons.” It was Senser’s newest location.
“We have closed this location for economic and financial reasons,” reads a sign hanging on the front door.
Senser’s opened its first location in Roseville in 1988. The business expanded shortly after that, adding a location in Bloomington in 1990. The Plymouth restaurant opened in 2007.
The sign on the Plymouth restaurant’s door says gift cards and coupons will be honored at the two remaining locations, adding, “Thank you to our staff for all the hard work and also to the Plymouth area community for their support over the years.”
The restaurant chain’s namesake and part-owner is former Viking Joe Senser. Senser’s wife, Amy, currently faces charges related to an August crash that killed a man in Minneapolis. The Sensers also face a lawsuit from the victim’s family. (Source: KSTP 5 Eyewitness News)
